The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Competition will be going on daily at the 2010 Omaha Boat, Sports & Travel Show.   These world class athletes will compete head to head for bragging rights and the title, "Bull of the Woods"!

The competition is a no holds barred slug fest with axes, saws, log rolling and high climb races up 50 foot trees.

The Great Bear Show
Great Fun For the Whole Family!
                                              

The Great Bear Show consists of education about Bears, both in the wild and in captivity.  Plus you will enjoy a little comedy and showing of their skills, intelligence and agility.  Between shows, the Bears will be on display (behind a plexigas barrier) for you to observe and take pictures.

The Camouflage Chef

Lee Conway is "The Camouflage Chef"!  He provides easy and fun instructions to hunters & anglers on the proper way to harvest your game in the field and then turn it into a meal you will never forget!

Exhibition Casting Tank
Fishing comes alive when you get an upclose view of fish striking a lure!

This giant aquarium stands over 9 feet tall and is completely visible for all sides.  The tank mirrors what you would find in a lake with such items as rocks and tree stumps.  The 5,000 gallon tank is stocked with live fish including bass, crappie, perch and catfish. 

Virtual Fishing Simulator
      

A fun, lively and realistic “virtual” fishing experience. Real time action, synchronized with dramatic fishing footage. You will Feel the strike, hear the line reeling off as the fish runs. Play the fish while reeling it in. It truly feels like your catching the "big one"!

In his 32 years as a tournament fisherman he has compiled an impressive record of 20- 1st place finishes, 29- 2nd place finishes and 38 top 10 finishes.  Scott’s true passions is teaching his seminar audiences how to become better fishermen.  Scott spend many of hours on the front of his boat learning the how to’s and why’s of fishing to teach his audiences how to become more successful every time they hit the water.

TERRY TUMA - Ice Fishing Today
     

Recognized nationally among the top multi-species anglers, Terry Tuma, is known in some areas as “Tackle Terry” and in others, as the “Fishing Professor.” He regales anglers with dynamic blends of entertainment, information and folklore.  As a staff member for Lindner’s Angling Edge, he spends at least 150 days annually on open water and on ice in multi-species professional fishing and serves as a resident angling advisor for “Outdoor News” publications. With decades of fishing and tournament experience, Tuma attracts multi-age audiences, keeping the joy of fishing alive in our hearts and promoting the industry with his expertise.

BRAD DURICK -Fishing the Red River of the North

Captain Brad Durick is a United States Coast Guard Captain and guide in North Dakota and Minnesota.  This seminar will be an introduction to the famous Red River of the North and how we catch the trophy channel cats that call it home.  He will discuss the gear and methods used on the Red and how they can be adapted to other channel catfish destinations.  It will be a basic seminar with a few tips and tricks to find and land more trophy channel cats.
